In 2019, the Powabunga Music and Mountain Festival burst on the scene and completely dominated the town of Vail for an unforgettable weekend featuring the likes of ZHU, Justin Jay, and Boombox.
But this year – Powabunga is back for not one, but TWO weekends – both returning to Vail and adding a Lake Tahoe stop. The Vail dates take place on April 17-19, 2020 and its expansion to a second location along the shores of Lake Tahoe in Crystal Bay, NV on March 20-22, 2020. Embracing the vibrant spirit of mountain culture from the Colorado Rocky Mountains to Lake Tahoe’s Sierra Nevadas, Powabunga provides an immersive alpine festival experience from the slopes to the stage – including access to world-class mountain resorts, apres-ski activities, after-parties, and more.
Both locations offer an incredibly diverse and fitting musical lineup. Vail will see the likes of Goldfish, Purple Disco Machine, Kazy Lambist and Fleetmac Wood as well as the recently announced, Claptone. After parties include the Desert Hearts crew (Mike Lion, Lee Reynolds, Porky, Marbs). Lake Tahoe will see Bob Moses return to the festival at the new location as well as the Desert Hearts Crew and 2 unique unannounced headliners.
Ticket packages are now available for both Powabunga events at www.powabungafestival.com — with a limited number of discounted $99 Early Bird 3-Day GA Passes and $299 Early Bird VIP Weekend Passes—offering access to preferred viewing areas and a VIP heated tent hosting exclusive bar and complimentary passed hor d’oeuvres, bottle service packages, luxury bathrooms, and more—available while supplies last.
