Over the years, Governors Ball has made a name for itself as one of the top Music Festivals in the Northeast. Taking place, well, on Governors Island, the venue features one of the most iconic backdrops in Festival history with the skylike on Manhattan just a stone's throw away. Set to return on May 31–June 2 the festival is ready to take the Tri-State area by storm yet again. The festival has taken to socials for a very special announcement. The 2019 lineup!

Bringing in a very diverse group of talent from Tyler the Creator, to Florence the Machine, to LIL WAYNE, to Major Lazer, the festival has a little bit for everyone. Delving into the EDM scene, we are welcomed with the likes of Gesaffelstein, Major Lazer, ZHU, Louis The Child, Bob Moses and MORE (all very diverse in sound in their own regard. It is not what you would call an “EDM heavy lineup” but it does bring in some huge names that will have the island bumping all weekend. It is going to be a hell of a weekend to be in NYC and we can only imagine the afterparties that will be announced at a later date.
