Carneyval has been very busy in the lab the last few months. Just recently his remix for ‘i‘ by Kendrick Lamar reached the coveted #1 spot on Hype Machine! Carneyval's summer hit ‘Tell Me Something Good' featuring Jackson Breit was loved by many, and brought a lot of attention to the young producer. This includes the attention of Gramatik, who chose Carneyval for his label Lowtemp, with Carneyval's release of ‘It Ain't Love'.
With all this success, Carneyval is getting ready for his next release, ‘Love & Emotion'. Even though ‘Love & Emotion‘ is only his second single, he's gained traction with listeners through being on Spotify's Fresh Finds and Viral Hits playlists for his hit ‘It Ain't Love‘. ‘It Ain't Love' reached over 700,000 Spotify streams and went number 1 on both US and Global Viral Spotify Playlists.
‘Love & Emotion‘ is also Carneyval's first collaboration, which features Hudson Thames. Hudson, who has over 39 million streams on Spotify, loaned his voice to perform the title track ‘Drive It Like You Stole' for the film Sing Street. The combination of Hudson's smooth vocals coupled with Carneyval's sensually soulful sound give this track a sultry vibe with lyrics to match.
