As I began to scroll through YouTube the other night, I caught wind of “The Story of Pretty Lights.” The video only received about 1,000 views, but I couldn't stop watching. This documentary tells the story of Pretty Lights, an electronic music legend that got his start in Colorado and began sampling others music and sharing to the masses.
The video brought me back in time, to the days when Pretty Lights was first starting out. While I hadn't heard from him in a while, and it reminded me of how much his music had impacted my life. It also inspired me to look into other artists who got their start from humble beginnings.
That's when I stumbled across the documentary about ODESZA from Audio Eats. We hope he continues his journey by continuing to post about these stories of popular electronic music artist lives.
